There are many species of rainforest animals, but there is a special group called the endangered animals. Endangered animals are all of the animals that are about to become extinct, which means that there are very few left. About one hundread and fourty animals that are extinct in the rainforests die every day.
Many of the rainforest animals go extinct every day because of deforestation. Deforestation is when humans cut down parts of the rainforests. We are slowly killing endangered animalsbecause of deforestation. When animals become extinct, they are gone forever, and never can come back to earth.
You can help save some of these animals by trying to re-use paper and also use less wood. Try to find other ways to help save endangered animal species!

The Rainforest and the Animals
The rain forest is full of many creatures. From the sloth, to the little bugs that inhabit the rain forest area, it is their home. Many people have seen the movie The Lion King. In this movie they talk about the circle of life, and how the predators (like leopards) eat the prey (like sloths). This shows that the prey provide food for the hunters... But it also goes the other way. The pray eat the grass, and when the hunters die, they fertilize the grass, so the hunters also provide food for the prey also. In this way, everyone provides food for each other. The trees also give food to all of the rain forest animals. These tree and ground animals are in a lot of trouble however. Since the rain forests are being cut down so quickly, they are losing their food and their homes. There are many organizations that believe the forests should be protected to save the animals, and work hard every day to save the forest
See what kinds of help you can do for the rain forests!

Simple Energy Conservation and What to Recycle
Many people worry about conserving energy. To help those people out, here are a few simple ways to do so!
*Some people use hot water in their washing machines. To help your water heater not waste energy, set it to either warm, or cold.
* When getting a new car, get one that has efficient gas usage per mile. This will use less gas, and also save you a LOT of money.
*Walk or bike to places if possible instead of going around with your car. This will keep you healthy, and also save gas along the way.
*Dark colors attract a lot of sunlight, and If you live in a warm place, air conditioning is essential... To help now waste power, you can paint your house a light color, so it will not attract sunlight nearly as much. You can also plant trees around the house for lots of shade.
*NEVER FORGET TO RECYCLE!!! Re-using materials is very useful. At the end of this blog, you will find a list of things you can recycle
*With all of the new technology, there are many ways to get energy. A very good option is to get your house solar panels, to take in energy from the sun.
*Solar panels are also available on many other things such as yard lights. To save even more energy, try to use solar panels on your outdoor items.
Try to find other ways to conserve energy!
What to Recycle???
Many people are'nt sure on what exactly they can recycle, so here are a few things that you can recycle.
* Any kind of aluminum can, like from soda or pop.
* Plastic containers like from water bottles.
* All kinds of papers, such as newspapers, writing paper, or construction paper can all be recycled.
* Batteries of all kinds can be recycled.
* All kinds of cardboard, from moving packages to one from a school project, can all be recycled.
* All kinds of technology such as cd's, old cell phones, and cameras.

What do Rainforests do, and What are Being Done to Them?
Rainforests are at work all of the time. They do many things that help us and other animals in every day life. All of the trees that live in the rainforests take in carbon dioxide, and release oxygen to help us breathe. They also provide food for the animals that live in the rainforests, such as mango's, and some of the animals also eat the leaves that grow on the trees. The trees in the rainforests also provide shelter for all of the animals that live in the area by giving them a place to sleep, that is safe from any predators. Rainforests have many different types of plants and animals, and also hold the most of them in the whole world! Rainforests, however wonderful they are, are being destroyed every second because we are cutting down plants and trees that animals live in, killing both plants and animals. Many people have been trying to stop this destruction, and will hopefully continue to do so.
Try to find ways you can help conserve the rainforests and all the animals in it!

Rainforest
We all know that flowers smell good, decorate rooms, and are found all over the world... Including the rain forest. Rain forests hold the most flowers on earth! There are many different types of flowers, from the ecuadorian rainforest flower, to the beautiful ginger flower. Flowers are not only beautiful, but some provide food for creatures that live in the rainforest! Since some animals eat flowers, the Food chain of the rainforest depends on the flowers that are located inside the rain forests. insects of all types are attracted to flowers as a food source also, so larger animals do not only eat the flowers, but also the bugs on them!
Because of these reasons, flowers are a necessity to all of those critters that live in the rainforest. Here are a few flowers that I thought were pretty neat!
* the forest flame is a bright red color with a little bit of yellow in it. Many people grow these plants in their homes, and some people even think it is the most beautiful flower in the rainforest.
* The emerald ebony may be a tree, but it grows large beautiful flowers, that are a lavender-blue color. For all of the year, the tree grows these silky, and fun-colored flowers. These flowers are also grown in homes!
* Angels hair is a flower that grows in groups of bright pink and also white. A strange fact about this pretty flower is that some countries use it as firewood!
Try searching online or in a book to discover new types of flowers!
